The Kimball Foundation provides opportunities for the at-risk and disadvantaged youth in the Bay Area to improve the quality of their lives and reach their highest potential. The foundation’s focus areas include the following: College Access and Persistence, Cultural Enrichment, Environmental Education and Vocational Development.
The foundation prioritizes the support of organizations that promote college access and encourage community service for low-income youth. Grants in the arts are made to groups that predominately serve youth.
