With a strong foundation in financial management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency, she has a demonstrated track record of success in driving organizational growth and sustainability.
Sunya combines academic knowledge with hands-on experience to deliver impactful solutions that have supported the mission and goals of several nonprofit organizations including NAIS, AGU, and Mary’s Center. Known for her dedication to financial transparency and budget optimization, Sunya is committed to making a meaningful difference in the nonprofit community.
Sunya has an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of the District of Columbia and is a native Washingtonian. She has been married to her husband for over 25 years and has two naturally artistic daughters. She enjoys running errands for her mom and family. She loves cooking, Mukbang videos, singing, volunteering, loving on her cat, Marcus, and spending time with her growing extended family.
