Spencer Woolfolk

Trustee, Frechette Family Foundation

Spencer Woolfolk is a third-generation board member of the Frechette Family Foundation and co-creator of the Frechette Leadership and Governance Program (FLAG). FLAG engages third-generation family members in a curriculum focused on philanthropic practice, board governance, and grantmaking. The program aims to cultivate leadership among family members while advancing the foundation’s mission to partner with innovative organizations and leaders to promote opportunities for children and families, with a current focus on supporting youth experiencing homelessness.

Spencer serves as Vice President – Capital Formation at CAZ Investments. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment themes, as well as monitoring existing investments. Spencer facilitates the engagement of outside partners—including Ultra High Net Worth investors, Family Ofices, Registered Investment Advisors, and Foundations—to co-invest alongside CAZ principals and shareholders.

Spencer graduated from Elon University with a B.S.B.A. in Finance and a minor in Economics. Originally from Chicago, he now calls Denver home, and enjoys golf, skiing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his wife and their Bernese Mountain dog
