Sharon B. King is the director of the Ageing Programme for The Atlantic Philanthropies. Ms. King, a recognized leader in philanthropy, leads the foundation’s U.S. grantmaking efforts to address the health and economic security of the most vulnerable older adults and has global responsibilities for sharing the learning of the Ageing Programme. Ms. King was previously president of the F.B. Heron Foundation, a private foundation that focuses on wealth creation strategies for low-income people and communities through market-rate investments, programme-related investments and core support grants.
