Rachel Cardone founded RedThread Advisors to advise philanthropies, donors, and funding recipients on strategy development, program design, and the creation of meaningful management systems to advance social impact. She has also served as program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she was co-creator of the Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Program. She lives in Port Townsend, Washington. She holds an MPA from the Columbia University and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan.
