Monica M. Merante, CAP© began her career in the not-for-profit sector in 2002 after graduating from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She headed up the annual giving and scholarship programs at Le Moyne College and Onondaga Community College before joining the Central New York Community Foundation in 2012. Her work at the Community Foundation allows her to connect donors to the foundation’s many resources and help them discover and support charities in that align with their interests. She also has the opportunity to meet with families interested in build a legacy of generosity, and parents who want to use their fund to teach their children about philanthropy. Monica currently serves on the board of directors for the Advancement Network (AdNet) and on non-board committees at local charities she loves. She lives in Syracuse, NY.
