2020 Community Foundations Family Philanthropy Network Workshop

Molly Rand is a senior philanthropic advisor for The Chicago Community Trust. In this role, she is responsible for building and fostering relationships with current and prospective donors. She works with families and individuals to develop philanthropic strategies and support impactful grant making, and helps connect philanthropy to opportunity by leveraging the knowledge of the Trust’s Community Impact staff for the benefit of donor advisors. In addition, Rand provides guidance and support to the LGBT Community Fund, one of the Trust’s affinity-focused funds.
A senior nonprofit professional with over 25 years of progressive experience in fundraising, consulting and nonprofit management, Rand joined the Trust in January 2019. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Women in Development Professions and the Advancement Network. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in journalism.
