Kristy Teskey is Executive Director of the John M. Belk Endowment and a strong education champion. Over the past 22 years she has worked on vital issues across the education and workforce development continuum, ranging from early childhood development to postsecondary access and completion, with a concentration on community colleges and first- generation students. Kristy joined the Endowment in August of 2013 as the first Executive Director. In this role, she leads the grantmaking work and build out of a strategic vision alongside community stakeholders and partners that will provide more educational opportunities for all students that lead to gainful employment. Before joining the Endowment, Kristy was senior vice president and national philanthropy manager for the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, leading the Workforce Development and Education platform.
