Joshua J. Knowles

Program Associate, Commemoration Fund, The Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation

With over a decade of youth program management and direct service experience, Joshua J. Knowles serves as a Program Associate for The Commemoration Fund and The Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation to help leverage grantmaking to generate long-lasting solutions. As the sole staff for The Commemoration Fund, Joshua oversees the fund’s $3 million award history and its upcoming cycles.

Before this role, Joshua has contributed to the social work knowledge base through collaborative research efforts focusing on juvenile justice reform and social work involvement in immigration services. Joshua has served as a board member for the National Association of Social Workers: Oklahoma Chapter and lectured on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles and trauma-informed care in faith-based settings. Joshua earned his Bachelor of Social Work at Oral Roberts University and earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare.
