John Matthew Sobrato is part of the fourth generation of Sobrato family members working within Silicon Valley. For the past seven years, John has worked as both a teacher and administrator at the Latino College Preparatory Academy, which serves the community in east San Jose.

As a graduate and board member of Santa Clara University, John is deeply committed to continuing the family’s leadership on education issues as well as providing equity and access to opportunities for school communities throughout the Bay Area.
