Catherine Warfield serves as Vice President of Philanthropic Advancement and Director of the Centers for Giving at Foundation For The Carolinas (FFTC), overseeing business development and relationship management for FFTC’s Center for Personal Philanthropy. Catherine works with individuals, families, and their professional advisors to create and implement charitable plans as well as support the creation of philanthropic legacies. In addition to the client service and asset development responsibilities, she also works in a grantmaking capacity, helping these clients distribute their charitable dollars through competitive grants across a variety of interest areas, including animal welfare, housing and homelessness, children and youth, and human services. The Center for Personal Philanthropy includes over 800 funds and over $1 billion in assets. Catherine has been with FFTC for over 8 years and received her CFP® in 2013. She previously worked for RBC Bank in Charlotte in both the Treasury Management and Mortgage departments. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UNC Chapel Hill.
