Bettye Pruitt became project leader in 2003 of the Generative Dialogue Project, which evolved into a global network, the Generative Change Community. She served as co-coordinator of the Generative Change Community (GCC) from 2005 through 2009. She also co-led the emergence of a related network, the Change Alliance. Bettye is formally trained as a social historian (PhD Boston University, 1981). She spent fourteen years, the last two as managing partner, with the Winthrop Group, a small firm of “consulting historians.”
