Grantmaking, Geography, and Leadership: Casalli Family Foundation

New trustee Molly Casalli is learning that Barlow County, the Casalli Family Foundation’s focus for over 30 years, has changed significantly in the years since she left for college. At the same time, she and other third generation trustees are feeling drawn to funding needs in their own communities.

As families grow and disperse geographically, foundations dedicated to the donor’s hometown are challenged to create a vision for the future that engages all trustees.
