Utilizing the services that Mission Investors Exchange offers is a great option for dipping your toes in the water. At the Wells Foundation, even though we’ve been doing this for some time, it’s been an incredible relationship with MIE and a tremendous value for us, especially when we created our social impact investing program.

Even within our program, if there’s something that you’re interested in pursuing, the first thing you’ve got to do is go to the MIE conference. At the conference, you get to meet with your peers in the community and build that network. We’re like everybody else in that we share our loan documents, our criteria, and anything else that we can do to help other foundations dip a toe in the water.
