Camp Naru is dedicated to providing Korean American youth with a safe, enriching environment to explore and appreciate their cultural identity. Our mission is to create a vibrant setting where young people can gain confidence, build community, and make lasting memories while deepening their understanding of Korean culture.

We envision a world where youth feel safe and celebrated for their unique identities as they integrate and engage with other cultures. Camp Naru offers hands-on activities and shared experiences that foster curiosity and appreciation for Korean American heritage. By connecting with peers who share a common background, participants strengthen their sense of self and cultural pride, equipping them to thrive as adults.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Summer Camp Co-Director to join our team and play a key role in supporting Camp Naru’s continued growth and success. The Co-Director will oversee both on-site camp operations and year-round planning, manage camp programming, logistics, and lead designated staff through the entire camp experience.

This position is designed to be collaborative and in conjunction with the other co-director, sharing in development and execution of all things camp. While each spearheads specific areas, both directors are required to support and effectively work together to ensure the success of camp.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, with strong leadership, organizational, and cultural competence, who enjoys creating meaningful experiences for youth.

The Co-Directors will also work closely with Camp Naru’s Board of Managers and Advisory Board with a core team of part-time and seasonal staff to ensure the success of Camp Naru.
