How can community foundations use impact investing strategies to amplify their mission and create change within their communities?

Join Dr. Stephanie Gripne, CEO of the Impact Finance Center (IFC), for an introduction to:

  • impact investing,
  • financial innovation,
  • and full spectrum capital.

Discover how IFC supported community foundations in identifying impact investment opportunities within their grant portfolios and donor advised funds using its innovative tool, the philanthropic opportunity scan.

We will learn from community foundations who have reimagined their endowment allocations, embraced participatory grantmaking, revitalized downtown real estate, and utilized social capital to drive local investment.

About the Impact Finance Center

Impact Finance Center, founded by Dr. Stephanie Gripne in 2012, is a multi-university nonprofit academic center that identifies, educates, and activates individuals and organizations to become impact investors, helping them better align their assets with their values. IFC distinguishes themselves because they provide non-conflicted trustworthy investor education. They do not raise any assets under management or advisement.

Note: This event and related materials are available only to staff of NCFP’s Community Foundation subscribers. If your organization is not yet a member of the Community Foundations Family Philanthropy Network, you can learn more and join here.
